Robin Hood
The last time we mentioned Robin Hood was when the Featurette was released and our tone was not so serious after all it’s Robin Hood well after watching the new International Trailer and seeing big battles with lots of angry men holding sharp objects were thinking Braveheart like carnage. Under Ridley Scott’s masterful direction it will be stylishly done carnage, with slow-mo shots of heads being cleaved from shoulders, you get the idea. Will it be epic, about as epic as a band of merry men can be.
Slashfilm had this to say which hints at a far grander stage for Robin
” With their country weakened from decades of war, embattled from the ineffective rule of the new king and vulnerable to insurgencies from within and threats from afar, Robin and his men heed a call to ever greater adventure. This unlikeliest of heroes and his allies set off to protect their country from slipping into bloody civil war and return glory to England once more. “
I guess we will have to see the movie when it opens in theaters on May 14th 2010 to get an answer to that one
